As iron is gradually released into the soil, it helps maintain the acidic conditions that ericaceous plants need to thrive. How to Use Ericaceous Planting & Potting Mix 60L
Potting:
- Water your plant thoroughly before repotting.
- Gently remove it from its container, shaking away loose compost.
- Half-fill the new pot with fresh ericaceous mix.
- Position the plant and fill around the root ball with more compost.
- Firm gently and water well.
Beds & Borders:
- Dig a hole roughly twice the depth and width of the root ball.
- Place the plant in the hole and backfill with the mix.
- Firm the compost around the base and water thoroughly.
