After 27 years of dedicated service to the people of Ballyconnell and its surrounding areas, Postmaster Brian Fee has decided to officially retire from his role as Postmaster of Ballyconnell post office. As we bid a fond farewell, we reflect on the profound impact he and his family have had on our community over the years.

Brian, along with his wife Angela and their family, has provided an invaluable service to our town throughout his tenure as Postmaster. From handling countless packages and letters to being a familiar face behind the counter, they have been the bedrock of our community's postal needs. on Friday 27th of October at 4:30pm, Brian will officially retire. On behalf of the wider community, we express our sincere gratitude for their unwavering commitment.

A New Location for Ballyconnell Post Office

Change is on the horizon for Ballyconnell Post Office. Starting from Tuesday, October 31st, the Post Office will find its new home within Kennedys Retail Park, becoming an integral part of Kennedys Home & Garden store. This move comes as a result of the thoughtful consideration by both Martin and Olga Kennedy, who recognize the vital role the Post Office plays in the daily lives of our community.

They were eager to ensure that this essential service remained centrally located in town. With ample space and convenient parking available on-site, they have taken on the responsibility of becoming the new Postmaster for Ballyconnell Post Office. Martin and Olga we're thrilled with the news when they secured the contract and are enthusiastic about carrying forward the exceptional service legacy established by the Fee family.

Welcome Donal Fee to the Team

In this exciting transition, we are delighted to welcome Donal Fee, Brian's son, as he joins the team as Post office manager. Donal will play a crucial role in maintaining the tradition of providing top-notch service at Ballyconnell Post Office.

Reopening on October 31st

The new management team of Martin and Olga Kennedy is gearing up to continue the legacy of exceptional service at Ballyconnell Post Office. The Post Office will re-open Tuesday, October 31st, at 10:30 am in its new home at Kennedys Home & Garden. The future is bright, and we can't wait to continue serving our community with excellence.

As we say goodbye to Brian Fee and welcome a new era for Ballyconnell Post Office, we are excited about the continuity and positive changes that lie ahead. This transition marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in the history of our beloved Post Office.
