Durabond Waterproof Fix N Grout adhesive is the ideal solution for fixing up ceramic wall tiles and mosaics in the bathrooms and kitchen in your home. This waterproof adhesive from the well-known Durabond product range is ready for use, featuring a brilliant white colour to have the tiles within your bathroom, shower, sinks and kitchens looking good as new!
Though Durabond Waterproof Fix N Grout is water resistant, it is not recommended to be used fully immersed in water and was design for interior use only.
How to use Durabond Waterproof Fix N Grout:
- Before you begin using this interior waterproof adhesive, make sure the surface you are applying Durabond Waterproof Fix N Grout to are clean, safe, dry and adequately prepared for the task you are carrying out. If there are small holes and cracks in the surface, it is recommended that you fill them in before beginning.
Fixing:
- Start from the lowest point that needs to be tiled and make your way upwards.
- Spread the Fix N Grout evenly over half a square meter at a time using a 3mm notched trowel.
- Then, press the dry tiles onto the ribs of the interior adhesive, if needed you can apply some fix and grout to the back of the tile to.
- Use a damp cloth to remove any excess Fix N Grout from the surface of the tiles, as you progress along.
- It is recommended to let the tiles dry for 8 hours before grouting.
Grouting:
- Using a sponge apply Durabond Waterproof Fix N Grout adhesive into the spaces between the tiles.
- Use a damp cloth to remove any excess Fix N Grout from the surface of the tiles, as you work your way along the tiles, 1 square meter at a time.
- Leave to dry for 24 hours and give them a shine with a clean cloth - don’t wet the area for at least 7 days.

- Each kilogram provides approximately 0.5 square meters of coverage.
